About Ana...

Ana Daniela Perez, born and raised in Panamá, is a vibrant performer with a love for all things dance and musical theatre. She brings energy and heart to everything she does on stage. Some of her favorite musical theater credits include Aguardiente (Washington, DC), Cats, The Addams Family, On Your Feet, Rabanes el Musical, and Balboa el Musical; many of which she performed as part of the ensemble at the historic Teatro Nacional de Panamá.

 

Ana Daniela started dancing at just three years old and hasn’t stopped since. She trained and graduated from Escuela de Danzas Teresa Mann, building a strong foundation in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, and tap. For more than 10 years, she was a member of Las Meninas and Grupo Facetas in Panamá. She continued her training at AMDA in New York, where she graduated in October 2025 with focused studies in musical theatre, voice, dance and acting. She’s also explored iconic characters like Nina in In the Heights and Elphaba in Wicked, deepening her work in singing and storytelling. She also explored pieces like “Funny Honey” (Roxie, Chicago), “A Boy Like That/I Have a Love” (Anita, West Side Story), “Waiting for Life” (Ti Moune, Once on This Island), “I’d Rather Be Me” (Janis, Mean Girls), and “Watch What Happens” (Katherine, Newsies).

 

Recently, she has been part of Rumbamena Dance Company, a Latin dance company based in NYC, performing and touring throughout the Northeast. Her New York credits include concerts and showcases at United Palace, The Stonewall Inn, Broadway in Bryant Park, Don’t Tell Mama, The Green Room 42, the Hispanic Day Parade, and the Panamanian Parade. She has also performed at Viva la Fiesta! at Dorney Park in Pennsylvania and has appeared in televised performances for Despierta América and TelevisaUnivision events. She’s also worked on holiday concerts and creative dance workshops, all of which have helped her develop flexibility as a performer and collaborator.
